1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and great.style ("we," "us," or "the Service"). By accessing our website, uploading a photograph, using our camera tools, or purchasing report credits, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy & Biometric Information Notice.
2. Eligibility (Strict 18+ Requirement)
You must be at least 18 years of age to access or use great.style. By using the Service, checking the consent checkbox, or uploading an image, you represent and warrant that:
- You are 18 years of age or older;
- You have the legal capacity to enter into these binding Terms; and
- You will not use the Service for any unlawful, non-consensual, or prohibited purpose.
If we become aware that an individual under 18 has submitted a photo or used the Service, we will immediately terminate the session and permanently delete all associated data and images.
3. Description of Services & AI Nature of Output
great.style provides automated personal styling insights, color season analysis, tailored silhouette guidance, curated clothing recommendations, and synthetic virtual try-on visualizations powered by machine learning and multimodal generative artificial intelligence models.
AI Output Approximations Disclaimer
All analysis, color palettes, fit guidelines, and virtual try-on imagery are algorithmic approximations provided solely for entertainment, personal aesthetic exploration, and styling inspiration.
- Virtual try-on images are synthetic computer-generated graphics (synthetic media) and do not represent physical garments, exact drape mechanics, or real-world tailored fit.
- Color season recommendations are algorithmic estimates based on digital pixel values and lighting conditions; they do not constitute professional dermatological, medical, or bespoke styling advice.
- Garments, fabrics, and colors may appear differently in physical form than rendered on screen.
4. User Photos & Likeness Rights
A. Sole Ownership & Warranty
You retain full ownership and copyright of all original photographs that you upload to great.style. By uploading or capturing a photograph, you represent and warrant that:
- The photograph depicts your own face and physical likeness, or you have secured express, verifiable written authorization from the individual depicted;
- The photograph does not depict any minor under 18 years of age;
- The photograph does not infringe upon any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or proprietary rights; and
- The photograph does not contain sexually explicit, defamatory, harassing, or illegal content.
B. Limited Processing License
You grant great.style a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, limited license to process, store, resize, analyze, and transmit your photograph solely for the technical purpose of generating your personal style report and try-on imagery during your session. We do not use your photographs, facial geometry, or generated likeness to train public foundation AI models, and we do not sell or monetize your likeness.
5. Credits, Payments, and Refund Policy
- Free Trial: Your first style report is provided free of charge, subject to fair usage and bot protection limits.
- Credit Packs: Additional style reports require report credits purchased through Stripe. Credits are billed upfront, denominated as specified at checkout, and tied to your browser session.
- Non-Transferability: Report credits are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- Refunds & Disputes: If a generation fails due to a server error, the spent credit is automatically refunded to your session balance. In the event of a disputed or refunded payment, all corresponding credits and associated reports will be revoked.
6. 90-Day Storage & Deletion Schedule
In accordance with our Privacy Policy, all reports, reference photos, and rendered try-on images stored in our cloud infrastructure are automatically and permanently deleted 90 days after creation. You may also permanently delete your report at any time via the in-app deletion button.
7. Merchant Links & Third-Party Services
Our style reports contain links to third-party merchant websites where clothing pieces may be purchased. great.style is not a clothing retailer, manufacturer, or shipping provider. We make no representations or warranties regarding third-party inventory, product availability, pricing accuracy, sizing, shipping, or merchant return policies. Any purchase you make on an external merchant website is solely between you and that merchant.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit photos of third parties without their express written biometric consent;
- Submit photos of any minor or individual under 18 years old;
- Circumvent, disable, or tamper with credit ledgers, authentication tokens, rate limits, or security controls;
- Scrape, reverse engineer, or deploy automated bots against the Service;
- Use the Service to generate deepfakes, harassment material, or deceptive likenesses.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GREAT.STYLE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
IN NO EVENT SHALL GREAT.STYLE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO GREAT.STYLE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50.00 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
